MARY JANET WOOD of Raymond, AB, passed away at the Raymond Health Centre on Saturday, April 25th, 2015 at the age of 79 years.She is lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Kathy, Jason and Will Thomson and her niece and nephews Cindy Oler of Lethbridge, Gary Winkler of Lousana and Chuck Winkler of Picture Butte.Mary was predeceased by her children, Wyatt Wilfred Werner and Barbara Charlebois and her parents, Albert and Ellen Winkler.Mary was born in Edmonton, AB, raised on a farm just outside of Raymond and graduated from the Raymond High School. In 1956 she married William Werner and had two children, whom she is now reunited with. Mary traveled and lived in many places, was a wonderful cook and enjoyed playing cards. She worked in accounting and was meticulous not only with numbers, but in everything she did. She was very thoughtful; never forgetting to send a card for birthdays or holidays. She was soft-spoken and a kind and generous friend to many. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.At Mary's request, there will be no formal funeral service.
