HARRY NEIL WRIGHT, of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Ellen Wright of 63 years, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at the age of 85 years.
Besides his loving wife Ellen, Harry is survived by his children: Monte (Verna) Wright, Terry (Rod) Barnett and Brian (Patti) Wright; grandchildren: Lindsey and Jeff (Ashley) Wright, Jordan and Tiffany Barnett, Kelsey (Corey) Pohl, Brad (Robbyn) Wright, Rob (Grace) Wright and Tyler (Michele) Wright as well as three very special great-grandchildren: Rowen, Weston and Oakley.
Harry was a kind, compassionate man, whose family was his pride and joy. He was a hard working man with strong morals and ethics, and was a consummate gentleman, fiercely protective of his family and once you were a friend, you were a friend for life.
In his younger years, along with his brothers, they were the definition of "Cowboys". Right until his passing, he always donned his cowboy hat and western buckle on his belt.
He leaves behind a legacy of commitment to marriage and the knowledge that his loving family will remain strong and supportive.
A Celebration of Harry's Life will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB, on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Glenda Wert officiating.
In lieu of flowers and in memory of Harry, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, #200, 119 - 14 Street N.W., Calgary, AB, T2N 1Z6.

Harry was an amazing person, friend and neighbor to us, his love, kindness and friendship meant the world to our family. 40 years is a long time to be neighbors, so to us he is like family. We send our condolences to The Wright family, Harry will be missed, but never forgotten. Dennis, Jacquie, Deanna & Dan Coburn
Harry & Ellen were always like my adopted Grandparents . I spent a lot of time as a child camping and going over to their house while my parents played cards. I will always cherish the memories and the special moments I got to spend with Harry and Ellen. I will also cherish the wood working and other projects I received from Harry. RIP Harry xoxoxo
