Wright, Julie

1945 - 2022 - MRS. JULIE WRIGHT, of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at the age of 77 years. 

She is survived by her loving husband, James Wright, her daughter Kelly (Craig) Russell, and her grandchildren Preston and Danica, son James "Jimmy" Wright, and grandchildren Eden and Logan, stepchildren Debbie Karrah and granddaughter Jamie and four great grandchildren, Brett, Barbie (Terry) Godsalve and John (Darlene) Wright, grandson Ryan (Forzana) and Richelle, brother George Begany and sister Betty Anonson (Gary Thompson) and extended family. 

Julie was an awesome mom, wife, sister and daughter. She was very kind-hearted and had a gentle, caring touch. Mom was always taking care of others and putting those ahead of herself. She had a great sense of humour and loved to laugh. She was always in the kitchen, cooking and baking. She loved to be in the garden and plant flowers. You could also find her in the summers, down at her favourite fishing hole. 

Mom was a very dedicated sports parent, with watching soccer, baseball, volleyball and football. She was a very loving parent and grandparent. Mom was also a member of the Legion's Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed her time there. 

Mom will be greatly missed but we will have all the great memories and will always celebrate her as the wonderful person that we all know and love. We love you Mom and you will always be with us. 

Thank you for all the friendship and support, and to the Edith Cavell support staff, nurses and doctors for the wonderful care given to Julie. 

A Celebration of Julie's Life will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2825 - 32 Street South, Lethbridge, AB, on Friday, January 6, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. with Reverend Glenda Wert officiating.
